One of the items on our summer bucket list was to go to the lake. Our weekends were pretty full this summer so we were so happy when Aaron and Cami found a house for the whole family to rent over Labor Day weekend. It was the whole Jones' clan, plus the McKenzie cousins, minus the Zicks…we sure missed them! It was 21 total in our house = never a dull moment and someone was always in the kitchen :).
Ok-not a great picture but I had to feature the water mat. The kids had so much fun playing on this - it's basically a huge raft! Ava-Grace is so good with entertaining the little ones.
Adam was suddenly the favorite uncle taking all the kids on wave runner rides. Laney Faith was happy as could be with her dad…Cooper never made it on :).
Sweet Girls! I packed Piper 3 different swimsuits and she never made it one of them!
We rented a beautiful house in a great, quiet cove. It was perfect.
Unfortunately for me, Piper didn't sleep all that well while we were there. One morning we were up and out on the deck by 6am.
Waking up early had one major perk, a rainbow!
I almost wanted to go wake the kids up to see it, then I decided pictures would do ;).

This girl loved lake life! I wasn't on the boat but apparently she was dancing like crazy.
And then she was out.
Brynn or Benny as Laney calls her were best buds. They were missing their 3rd bff, Hadley.
These silly water bottles kept them very busy.
It wasn't all fun-they got down to business too.
Pippi joined the big girls for bath time.
Such a fun weekend but it was time to come home and get ready to start preschool!
