Happy Valentine's Day 2015

Valentine's Day was on a Saturday this year, so the kids celebrated in school on Thursday.  Then we celebrated the rest of the weekend.
Once again, cheap character cards for the win.  I had some fun Pinterest ideas but really, these made the kids more happy.  We went to Target and Laney picked Princesses and Pets.  Coop picked out the Avengers.
Laney wrote the L on all her cards...that was a bit tedious.
 Cooper rocked his!
And of course after school, they dumped out their bags to check it all out.
I thought this was fun and something different!  And easy too! ;)
Parents aren't allowed at their parties and I am 100% ok with that!  The teachers usually send a pic from the day.
 Our gift from Laney!
Cooper's class.  Even better than parents not allowed at the party...they decorated their Valentines bags at school!!  Woot Woot!
Friday night my parents had us all over for dinner and lots of treats.  The kids decorated cookies and overdosed on sprinkles.
Valentine's breakfast - heart shaped english muffins.
New PJ's from Grandma and Grandpa for Valentine's Day!
Henley spent the morning with us - we love having her here!
We also had Gia, Emersyn and Lakeyn over to play on Saturday morning.
The bounce house is the perfect indoor activity for kids when it's too cold to burn off energy outside.

I love these kids!
That afternoon, Mama Kelly dropped off chocolate chip cookies as big as Cooper's face!  Yum-they were so good...I hate to think how many I ate!
We kept with the heart shaped food theme and ordered a pizza for the kids!
I made them shirley temples and they were over the moon excited!
Cash and Quincy came over for a bit to play.
I made these meatballs for Adam and I with my favorite butternut squash and kale on the side.  I have it almost everyday for lunch-so good!!!!!!
I changed her out of her pjs and into her Valentine's outfit at dinner.  She had to have at least one picture in it!
Laney had lots of Valentine's wardrobe options, she chose her heart leggings.
Happy girls!
Happy Pippi!
Somebody put some bows on these heads!
We loved our day of L-O-V-E!
Another happy happy valentine's day in the books!

Weekend in Wash, MO

We didn't just come to Wash, MO for the Daddy/Daughter dance...Baby Brody was getting baptized and we celebrated Kellen's 6th birthday (just a little early).

Cash joined us for the weekend since Aaron and Cami couldn't make it in.  Adam flew into STL from somewhere and met us there so it was me and these 4 kiddos on the I-70 trip.  Boys were a gem...girls not exactly gems ;).  But we did make it without any stops so that is a success!
The outfit I dressed her in that morning was the top and the polka dot leggings.  She added the skirt underneath, the single leg warmer and mismatched high heels.  She is always dancing or cheering.
The weather was nice so the boys played outside a lot.  It was muddy so they did some digging and made a mess of their shoes.  Sounds like 3 boys, right?
They have so much fun together!
All snuggled in for some cartoons before bed in Mamaw and Papaw's room.
Saturday morning we got to watch the McCormack kids play some b-ball!
Laney brought her pom poms but wasn't up for cheering.
 Kellen in action!
Adam and Tanya took the big kids to SkyZone in STL to celebrate Kellen's bday.  I stayed behind while the girls napped and watched my Jayhawks get beat by OSU ;(.

The boys said they were not going to nap...this was the car ride home.
The weather was beautiful so it was driveway basketball!  The McCormacks have the perfect driveway for ball.

 We enjoyed their patio.
 Channeling Cousin It.
It got chilly fast!  Apparently not to Dan who was still in shorts.
 They are ready for dessert!
Can't believe the boys are almost 6!

No cake for Pippi and Brody.

Sunday morning was baptism for Baby Brody.  Adam was his sponsor...and taking pics on his iPhone during the ceremony.
This sweet girl slept in my arms the whole service!
So sweet! I asked Adam, 'doesn't sweet baby Brody make you want to have another boy?'  He looked at me like I had 3 heads.
Selfies with Mamaw and Papaw before hitting the road back to KS.

Phew, are you still with me??  That was a lot of pics...thanks Tanya for most of them!
