A loooong flight home

We had a crazy trip back home after a fun weekend in STL.  Our original flight was scheduled to get us home late Sunday evening, that changed Friday night after a tornado hit the STL airport and caused major damage.  We got moved to a flight leaving Monday morning, still to have us home before noon so Adam could make at least 1/2 day of work.  Well, the weather wasn't in our favor again.
We boarded our flight at 9:15 Monday morning, ready for the short flight back to DFW.  In fact, as usual we were running late.  Coop ate breakfast in the backseat on the way to the airport and Adam and I just planned on an early lunch at DFW, ha!  The pilot had to detour around storms, circled DFW for a while due to weather and then headed to Austin to fuel up where we joined lots of other planes doing the same.  Sat on plane in Austin for over 2 hours before trying to make it back to DFW.  It is mid-afternoon at this point and no meal in our systems yet.  We were blessed to be bumped up to first class after our first flight was cancelled so we did get snacks, Goldfish, Granola Bars, Pretzels.  We were back at DFW but couldn't land due to bad weather, so a u-turn was made back to Austin.   We arrived about 5:00 where they got us to a gate so that we could get off to eat.  We got off the plane and headed to the nearest restaurant!  We had just set down to  eat when they started re-boarding again...ugh.  So, off we went with dinner in our hands to eat on the plane.  Fast forward 2 hours later and we finally landed in DFW at 7:15, make that 10 hours from the time we originally boarded the plane that morning!!!!
As awful as it sounds, it really wasn't that bad because Cooper was so awesome!!!!!!!!!  He napped a couple hours on the plane, didn't have any poopy diapers :), stayed contently in our seats and was pretty quiet most of the time.  Not sure what we did over the 10 hours as I didn't have any toys packed, thinking we were going to have a short flight home.  We did watch parts of Toy Story a couple times and Cooper read all the inflight magazines.  I got a few pics to document your trip.

Snacking on a granola bar.  It was hard to get good pictures considering we all were about 6 inches from each other. :)
Coop in my seat, thank God for blanket, on one of my many bathroom trips.
The disaster at our feet included Goldfish, granola bar, magazines, a onesie we had taken off Coop...mess!
The stickers from Mamaw and Papaw kept us busy for quite a while!

Easter Weekend

Seems like we have been celebrating Easter for weeks!  It was good build-up to a great weekend with family.  However, we were missing Braeden and Ava-Grace :(.  Here are some more pictures from the weekend...enjoy!

Yes, that is a hammock in Adam's bedroom at his parents house :) and Coop seemed to be the only one not enjoying it and yes, still in his pjs.  He was a late sleeper over the weekend which is why we love Adam's old bedroom.  It is the unfinished part of the basement with no windows, so it always feels like the middle of the night=good sleep for us!
Awww, feel the love from Aunt Tanya!
Grandma and Grandpa were missing their Cooper and drove 3 1/2 hours one way to spend the morning with him, then turned around and drove back home.  It was great to have them visit, even for the short time.
Dad and Coop searching for Easter eggs.
Adam got a special gift from a bird on his sleeve during the egg hunt...I told him to look on the bright side-people say it means good luck!
After the egg hunt, Mawmaw and Pawpaw's Easter Bunny had left toys for the kids.  Coop was pretty excited about his new Toy Story book and figurines!
The Easter Bunny brought Kellen the same tee ball set that he/she brought Coop and he recognized it immediately!  I don't think he even let Kellen get the first swing!!  This kid loves his sports.
How funny that the 3 boys had the exact same polo from Gap!!???  We didn't even plan it!  Here they are sharing M&M's.
With Ava-Grace missing, Emily was the only girl.  Good thing she can hold her own, but those boys are starting to really pester her!  Who knows, maybe this baby I am carrying around will be her saving grace :).  Em thinks it's a girl and we should name her Sophi.
Of course, matching shirts means picture time!  This cracks me up, Coop and Cash pulling on Kellen, like - "c'mon man, sit down."
Man, these 3 are going to be trouble, cute trouble that is!
Night-night...storytime with Uncle Aaron

Highlight of Cooper's Easter Weekend

Sure Cooper loved seeing his grandparents and cousins, celebrating Easter with hunts and toys, but riding on Pawpaw's bus had to be his favorite!  Cooper loves all forms of transportation-planes, buses, trucks, tractors, etc.  When Pawpaw pulled that bus up to the house, Coop was ecstatic!

Our only family pic of Easter weekend...how did that happen?
 The Jones
The McCormack Boys
This picture says it all. His face was like this the whole ride. :)

 Kisses for Emmy!
All the kids got to talk on the microphone.

A big thanks to Pawpaw Jones for making this happen!

Catching up with the Alfermanns and Kluesners

Coop and I have definitely missed our weekly playdates with the Kluesners and Alfermanns!  We traveled to STL for Easter so we knew a playdate had to be done!  We went straight from the airport to have lunch and play with the kids.  They clearly left an impression on Coop from our year stint in STL.  Pretty sure Cooper is crushing on Parker, Par-Par as he calls her.  He often goes to the computer and demands to see Par-Par (pictures from Facebook), you should see the smile he gets on his face when she pops up on the screen.  And, most baby boys are "Knox." :)  Can't believe how much all the kids have grown in just a few months!!!!!!

The best I got of the group, pretty cute.
Knox's dad would be happy to see how much Cooper was loving these Notre Dame balls!  How great are those green walls???  Love them!

Fun week with the Fimmens and Stilleys

We had the best week with the Fimmen and Stilley kids.  My friend, Jenny and her two sweet girls made the trip south to visit.  You can read even more about her visit over at Stilley Stuff!  We played and played and played some more, it was so fun having all the kids together.  There were 6 kids total, age 3 and under!

Cooper and Anna playing with markers??  Yes, but Carolyn is a momma of 3 so of course she knows what she is doing and they are the kind that only color on certain paper.  Definitely need to invest in some of these!
Cooper and Tom.  If you ask Cooper who his best friend is, he always says, Tom.  He gets so excited to see him!
It was a hot week so we had plans for the kids to swim in the backyard one afternoon.  Well, we got them all in their suits lathered up in sunscreen and out we went.  Not even 1 minute of being outside and not only did it start raining, but hailing too!  So, we had to drag (literally) the big kids back inside kicking and screaming.  No pool=big tub!  The kids had fun and we all got baths out of the way for the night.
Carolyn and Jenny planned an Easter egg hunt for the kids and they had fun!  Coop found a stick and was busy with it instead of the eggs.
All four of the 'big' kids after the hunt.  We wanted a picture of all four of them together and the only way it was happening was with them eating their Easter egg candy.  Such a fun group of kids!  Somehow I didn't get a picture of the 2 sweet babies, they were usually sleeping, eating or just sitting contently.

We can't wait for the Stilley family to visit us again!

Easter Bunny Visit

The Easter Bunny made a week early appearance to Keller...he/she must have known we were going to be out of town.
The Easter Bunny made an early visit to Keller!
Pure excitement when spotting the Easter basket, mostly the tee-ball set
The Easter Bunny really scored on this, he/she is one smart bunny!  We have decided this needs to be moved outside before we lose a window or TV.
Headed to the backyard to hunt for eggs
Dropped the basket and headed for the eggs
Coop is loving little animals, so the Easter Bunny found some that fit perfectly inside the eggs.  He was pretty excited!

Easter Egg Scramble and A Night Out!!!!!!!

Last Saturday morning was beautiful!  We headed out to the 1st annual Keller Egg Scramble with Aunt Maggie and Uncle Kyle.  The egg hunts were divided by age, Coop participated in the 0-1 and 2-3...not so much of a "hunt" as a "watch where you are stepping because there is candy and eggs everywhere!"  He kind of got the idea and seemed to enjoy it, definitely be interesting to see how he reacts next year.

Pretty sure this is as good as it's gonna get for Easter Bunny pictures this year.  Not really feeling the creepy Easter Bunny at the mall, especially when I know he is just going to be petrified and throw a fit.
As the ages progressed in the hunts, it became mass chaos.  Kids were everywhere and they were paging lost ones left and right.
Coop's favorite part was probably seeing the fire truck and getting to sit in the driver's seat.
For Valentine's Day, Adam gave me (us) tickets to the Zac Brown Band/Kenny Chesney concert at Cowboys Stadium.  We went with our friends the Cooks.  If you live in the Norman, OK area and ever need a photographer, check out Kristin Cook Photography.  Kristin took Coop's newborn pics, which we just adore.  I am trying to figure out how I am going to get my newborn to Norman, OK in its first week of life for her to capture him/her!
It was such an awesome show! If they are coming to your city, I highly recommend it!  We had fabulous seats too, which made things that much better!  As you see in the picture, Adam took upon himself to drink for two since I was occupied with water (and cotton candy:)).
The biggest big screen ever!  They opened the roof of the dome for Kenny's show, it was a beautiful night!
Kenny's grand entrance.  I was so thankful we weren't on the floor, look at the place!
A big shout out to Aunt Maggie and Uncle Kyle for baby-sitting Coop all afternoon and night.  It was so nice to leave and not worry about one thing and we know he had so much fun with them too!
