Christmas Eve!

Christmas Eve!  One of my favorite days of the year, I love all the anticipation this day and night holds!
We all said goodbye to Nineey.
Ok-so Christmas Eve came and I still had not gotten the Santa Claus picture that I had in mind.  I thought it was a great idea to head to Bass Pro (because they were the only place still doing Santa pics!) to see Santa on Christmas Eve.  I mean...who else would be wanting to do this on Christmas Eve day...oh, apparently everyone in Johnson County!  It was a freakin' 2 hour wait!!!
We ditched that idea and hit up the carousel.
I love that he's hanging on like his life depends on it.
Lots of cooperation for a picture, thanks kids.  Oh and Laney decided she should wear Piper's vest that is 12-18 months.

We went home, kids took naps, we went to 4:00 Christmas Eve mass and then to my Grandma's for dinner.
**Bear with me as these pictures are a bit jumbled.**
Aaaah, Santa Claus stopped by!  Cooper and Laney were over the moon ecstatic!
Piper and Henley were traumatized.
End of the night, Pippi was tired and pretty content in Brock's arms.
The kids made reindeer food with Grandma a couple nights before.

The kids wrapped up the night watching Santa Tracker and dancing.
My sweet Christmas baby wouldn't sit still long enough to get a good picture.
And then it was time for a sibling picture, they were ready...
Pippi was not.
Actually, Cooper was the only cooperating one.
Needless to say, I wasn't getting a picture of all 3 kids looking and smiling.

Santa brought the kids books and they were so happy about that!

 Yep, traumatized.

Grandpa had an in with the big guy ;).
I thought I would try for a Santa picture...Piper wouldn't let go of me!
Of course he wanted to read his books right then and there.
Dad shared his dessert with Pippi.
Lane took over my Grandma's camera for the night and took lots of pictures of everyone.
I think Santa finally visited 2 am...exhausting job ;)  All waiting on 3 sleeping kids to wake and celebrate Christmas!

One more random December post before I finally dive into Christmas

I can't quite wrap my brain around organizing Christmas posts.  My laptop crashed at the wrong time...now all my pics are so unorganized.  It's like someone took 1,000 pictures, dumped them on my floor and told me to put them in order while Pippi crawled all over them.  My head hurts, so for tonight...random pics from the last month of 2014, it was a good one!

Seriously, I couldn't stop laughing at this.
This is brilliant!

I hit another promotion with Stella & Dot, Associate Director.  November was a crazy month but so much fun!
Champagne happy hour to celebrate with my Stella girls!
A promotion gift from the CEO of Stella & Dot.  She loves to make pancakes for her daughters so it was a fun pancake basket with some Prosecco on the side - fun surprise!

It's like this shirt was created just for me!  Of course I ordered it!  And I wear it almost every night.

We went to the Eric Church concert (one of our faves!) with Aaron and Cami.  In my picture mess, I can't find the one of all 4 of us...pretty sure it's one desktop and it's midnight so I am not getting out of bed to upload it.
If you want to have fun at a concert, you should take Adam!
Yikes!
It was such an awesome concert!!!
We hired Brock to drive us to and from the concert.  He may have been regretting this decision on the drive home ;).

Ok- I think I have postponed getting my Christmas posts together...I mean, it's almost February!!!

Laney's first manicure

I can't believe I just typed that title.  Ridiculous.  Who takes their 3 year old to get a manicure?!?  Well, apparently me.  It's all Adam's fault.  He asked me if I was taking her with me and I said, "over my dead body."  And he said, "Stop being so cheap and take her.  She will absolutely love it."  Then I looked at the backseat and those blue eyes did me in.

She was just a little bit excited ;).
She picked out a pink glittery polish.

She was so shy!

Cousin Playdate

One morning in December we had Cash and Gunner over to decorate some Christmas cookie decorating and playing.

 Hi Pippi!

Cash had a halo on that day :).
They were heavy on the sprinkles.

I was so impressed by what these two had built!  Seriously, if you have kids and don't own MagnaTiles - shame on you!  My kids play with these every.single.day.

10 months of living back in KC and this is the first time we have been out to dinner as a whole family.  I think the reason is pretty obvious, right??  The kids were pretty good though.
We came home from dinner that night and Cooper said, "I wish someone was here to take our family selfie."  lol!  What??  It's almost 2015 kid, you don't what a selfie is???  So, we did what any good parent would do and educated our 5 year old on a family selfie.
The only thing better than holiday pjs is matching holiday pjs!  I love that in these pictures, Piper is like...I don't care what you are doing, just give me my bottle!

That was a fun Saturday!!!
