Faces

This kid is making quite the faces these days, but my super slow point and shoot rarely captures them.  Man, I am dying for a fancy camera!! If you have recommendations, please comment and let me know!  Anyways, here are a few faces I caught this past Saturday night while we were out shopping.

was a much funnier face 2 seconds before, but just waiting for my camera to shoot!

Cheese!

Another reason I had to post these pictures...I just love how cute he is in the Beak 'Em sweatshirt!!!!

From STL to DFW

Saturday morning we left bright and early at 7am for our journey south to Texas.  Cooper is my son and not an early riser, not happy to be woken at 6:45am, but off we were.  First stop was for gas and lunch in Joplin.  Little did I know, my dad and Adam had planned this.  It was my fabulous' Mom's 50th birthday that weekend, and we were sad to not get to celebrate together.  Well, my Dad and Aunt Alli surprised us both by putting her in the car and driving 2 hours to have lunch with us at none other than Chick-Fil-A.  We ate and watched Coopie walk all over playland.  It was the best way to spend our lunch stop in Joplin.  Thanks Mom, Dad, and Alli, you are the best!!!

Happy 50th Grandma!  Glad we got to spend a little time with you!!  (Yes, we took Coop to lunch still in his jammies, he was that kid, better yet, we were those parents!)
And, he sleeps.  On our several hour journey, this kid only slept about 2 hours!!!
He kept very busy with Buzz and of course, watching Toy Story 1 and 2.
Our last stop.  Coop had a dirty diaper false alarm that caused us to stop.  We pulled off on a "scenic turnout," we always see these signs but never stop, well, we did this time!  I suppose it was scenic, doesn't seem so scenic after being on the road for 10 hours!
Dirty diaper false alarm, think he just wanted out of his carseat for a minute or two!  Please take note of Lola head down in Coop's carseat taking care of leftover Goldfish. :)
Because of that U-Haul trailer on the back, this fabulous guy drove the whole trip!  And, he didn't complain one bit, even when I dozed off from time to time...nothing puts me to sleep like a car ride!

So, 11 hours later we arrived at our temporary home until we find a more permanent home.  More on our apartment life later...

The final day in St. Louis

Well, moving day was officially here.  Click here to see the story behind our move.  Click here to see pics from when we first moved in the house, I even referenced back then that we don't stay places long.  We were in our house a short ten months, but made lots of memories there!

The boys and Lola watching over the movers from Cooper's bedroom window.
One last picture in his chair in his 2nd bedroom in his short 16 months of life.
Sweet Lola, this was her third house, pretty sure she has to be confused.  The day we moved, she didn't sleep a wink, thought we might leave her behind.  She sleeps about 20 hours a day, so this was really wearing on her.
Probably my favorite room in the house.  We completely re-did the kitchen when we moved in and loved how it turned out.  We were waiting to change out the appliances...they definitely don't match.  Oh well, not our problem anymore.
Our last family pic (and probably only) in front of our STL home.  It treated us well, definitely bittersweet to leave.  The best part, that red SOLD sign in the yard.  We were so blessed to get a contract on our house in 6 days after putting in on the market, so blessed!
I love how this picture turned out, I took it as the movers were finishing up the last touches.  The snow was falling as we pulled away.

Fire Station Field Trip

We took a field trip to tour the fire house with the Alfermann and Kluesner kids.  Man, did Cooper love it! He was in awe of it all!!  I definitely recommend this to anyone looking to take their kids somewhere fun and free!

 In the driver's seat...scary!

He was quite intrigued by the flashlight on the firewoman's helmet.
Coop and his girl, Parker...of course, neither looking at the camera. :)  The babies, Knox and Frannie were sound asleep in their carriers.
Cooper and the a-dorable Kluesner girls!!!  His man Knox had just left to go home for lunch, wish I could photoshop him in this pic!

Maggie and Kyle's Wedding!!! NYE 2010

And the celebrations just keep coming around here!  New Year's Eve was also Maggie and Kyle's wedding day!  Isn't that a great idea?  There were tornado warnings surrounding us in the morning (crazy!), but it cleared up to be a beautiful 60 degree day, who would have thought!  Lots of pictures, believe or not, I narrowed them down a lot!!!

My beautiful nieces Ava-Grace and Emily

My sister-in-law, the beautiful bride!
The 3 ringbearers' tuxes, don't you love how the wedding shop sewed onesies onto them...brilliant!  Believe or not,  I don't have a pic of the three boys actually in the tuxes!  They are a hard trio to capture!
Yes, those are Stella and Dot pearls the bride is sporting along with that huge rock!
My handsome ringbearer
Just love this picture!
The kids were gathered around watching Toy Story before the wedding.
The McCormack Family-minus Kellen

Take a look at Adam and then...
Kyle, the groom.  I mean, almost the same person, right?  Maggie hears all about this.
My fabulous sister-in-laws, Cami and Tanya
The girls were also wearing their Stella and Dot pearls, so cute!!!
Our only family picture of the night, not great, but Cooper doesn't have his thumb in the mouth (only because I am holding his hand down:))

Adam and his Grandma, who officially married off her last Grandchild, amazing!  A pretty wonderful lady who stayed to welcome in the New Year!!!

Who says you can't dance and suck your thumb?  We had to literally pry this kid away from the dance floor!
He was in love with the band!  Stood a couple feet from the stage and danced all by himself, didn't want anyone messing with him.  He last until almost 11, I think.  No pictures to prove it, but thanks to my fam that took care of Coop most of the weekend so Adam and I could truly have fun!
Braeden and Ava-Grace...they owned the dance floor.
Great girlfriends, Maureen and Nicole, we spend many a playdates together.  Maybe more for us than the kids :).
Man, did we have fun!
Sober and totally not sober, but having equal amounts of fun!
Don't you love our New Year's Accessories!!!
Happy Wedding Day Maggie and Kyle! It was a wonderful day and we had the best time...obviously!

Christmas with the Jones'

We all gathered at Mamaw and Papaw Jones' Wednesday after Christmas to celebrate the holiday and get ready for Maggie and Kyle's wedding!  Each year it is crazier and crazier with Christmas present opening as the kids get older and begin to multiple.  I don't have any great pictures of the other kids opening gifts because they were all tearing into them at the same time and I was helping the Coopster.  Enjoy...
Man, Braeden is so good with these 3 boys!
And, our meticulous unwrapper continues in his way
Love that he had to get on top of the present to open it :).
These Grandparents were also gifted with airline miles, in hopes they treat themselves to a Hawaiin vacation...here they are trying to understand what has been gifted to them.

Cash and Kellen...maybe fighting over each other's gifts?

If I have said it once, I have said it a million times, but we are so blessed with our wonderful families.
