Halloween Sneak Peek

Let's hope Coop likes his costume better on Halloween, otherwise it's going to be a long night!
Happy Early Halloween everyone! We are excited to get Cooper all dressed up as a puppy dog for his first Halloween!!! Hope to see many of you!

It's flu season and look at Cooper's new trick...

At about 8 weeks, Cooper discovered his hands. In the beginning, he would just make fists and hold them up in front of his eyes. Well, in the last week or so, his mouth has found them! It takes him quite a while, but he is persistent! The funny part is that he keeps his thumb tucked inside his fist, so no thumb sucking yet... We keep reminding him that it is flu season and we must keep our hands out of our mouths. :)

Didn't see this coming!!!

This is how we started our Monday morning. I was changing Cooper's diaper, he was lying on the bed and I was standing over him. I was just putting the new diaper on when this happened. Yes, his poop shot out and all over my pants!!! Very little even made it in the diaper! Adam and I were laughing hysterically, what else can you do?? Happy to report my sweatpants came out clean!

Ladies' Man

Cooper met his second girlfriend last week, Anna Stilley! Known to many of you as Fimmen's daughter :). He has been waiting on her, she's 6 weeks younger!
Cooper and Emersyn all bundled up in their matching carseats.
They are over pictures, and it has only begun!

Cooper is the lone male when he visits the recent KC babes. They are both petite little dolls and Cooper looks like a mini man next to them. Can't wait for more playdates!!!

Sad, Sad Saturday...

"My Jayhawks and Sooners lost...tell me it isn't true! How did Briscoe not catch that pass to win the KU game. My Hawks would have been atop the Big 12 North! However, I was able to sleep that night because those terrible MU Tigers lost!" -Cooper's Words :)-

Cooper - Two Months Old

Cooper is getting bigger by the day! In his 2nd month...he is smiling (it's not just gas:), he's discovered his hands and is doing everything he can to try to eat them. He's swatting and kicking the toys in his boppy play gym and most importantly...sleeping through the night!! YAY!!! His eyes are still a beautiful blue and hasn't lost too much hair yet. It's so much fun to have him interacting more and more! Happy 2 months Cooper, we can't wait to see what month 3 brings!

Baby in a Bumbo

Hanging on for 8 seconds, one hand on the saddle, the other in the air !
His long body helps him fit perfectly in the Bumbo!
Love this sweet smile, but SO hard to get a picture of it!

If you need to smile or laugh, find a baby and put it in a Bumbo seat...so stinking cute! We just laugh at him in it because he works so hard to keep his head up but soon he begins to look like a drunken old man bobbing his head.

Tummy Time

Cousin Kellen is showing Cooper how it's done!
Tummy time isn't always Cooper's favorite activity of the day, but we do it anyway. :) We have to time it just right otherwise he spits up all over or falls asleep!

Fun with the Boppy Play Gym

Cooper sits in front of his play gym everyday and each week he seems to be noticing it more and more. Just this past week, he is kicking the toys and occasionally hits them with his hands. It's so fun to have him more alert and paying attention!!

Have Baby, Will Travel

We survived road trip #2! Last Friday we began our transition from DFW to STL. We left our house at 10:18am and arrived at Papaw and Mamaw Jones' at 10:00pm. A long day behind the wheel but Cooper was a great traveler. Part of that was thanks to my mom riding with us most of the way. Cooper's carseat has lots of miles on it in only 7 weeks! One plus of traveling at this age is they can't ask, "are we there yet?" :)
