Three Months

the baby acne on the chin is in full force, I am sure because his chin is constantly wet from spitting up
this was as close to a smile as I could get during this photo shoot

Cooper was three months on November 12th!
In month three, Cooper is:
  • 13 lbs, 12 oz and 26 inches long. 50%ile for weight and 90%ile for height
  • smiling all the time, loves to be sang to and hearing people roll their tongues.
  • He's becoming ticklish and giggling
  • moved to size 2 diapers
  • outgrowing his one piece outfits before I can get him in them with those long legs
  • officially losing his dark beautiful hair :(
  • grabbing toys and holding onto them
  • following people (especially mom and dad) around a room
  • watching Kansas basketball and loving it!!!
Happy 3 months Cooper!

Adios Texas

Our last family pic in Fort Worth in Oct., we miss you 4733 Auburn Ridge
very serious...
in his glider one last time before it got packed into a trailer
loving his crib and the polka dot bumper, was just staring at the polka dots
Overdue post...
These pics are from the beginning of November when my mom, Cooper, and I went and packed everything up in Fort Worth. Yes, Coop survived another long road trip! He is a trooper and does AWESOME in the car, fits into our lifestyle! His carseat mileage could win an award!!! We were sad to be leaving our fabulous home and friends in Texas, but onto the next chapter in our lives...Hello St. Louis!

Wall Decor

Could these letters be any cuter? They were a shower gift from Lea Costa, a secretary at my Texas school. Of course, she couldn't make them until after Coop was born since we didn't know if he was going to be a boy or girl. I simply gave her Cooper's bedding and she created these. Lea is SO talented. Check out her website at www.acherishedchild.com to see her other works of art. Now we have to find a house so we can get these super cute letters hung on a wall! Thanks again Lea!!!

Soccer, Anyone??

Coop's Aunt Alli was calling him Bruce Jenner in his Adidas outfit. :)
Couldn't resist posting these pics as Cooper looks like such a little man in this adorable outfit (thanks Uncle Jim and Aunt Ann!). He looks like he belongs on a soccer field...never mind the fact that he can't even roll over yet.

Look at Me!!

Cooper has loved his Bobby play gym for a while, but now he's becoming more interactive. He is grabbing toys, holding onto them and cooing.

The X Factor

Coop is showing his Jayhawk spirit with his X for Xavier Henry, the X factor for the Hawks this year. Nature vs Nurture?... the Jayhawk pride is instilled from birth. Texan by birth, Jayhawk by the grace of God :)

Pumpkin Patch Visit

1st try...
This was the best we got after many shots...
Cooper had his first visit to the Pumpkin Patch at the Louisburg Cider Mill. As you can see, we weren't too successful in posing Coop with the pumpkins. We enjoyed delicious cider doughnuts and root beer, yum! Maybe Cooper can enjoy next year!

More Halloween

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

Halloween is exhausting!

A baby with the babies! Uncle Bryson and Aunt Tara were dressed as babies for Halloween!

Happy Halloween!

Yes, Lola got to dress up too. She was a dinosaur. :)
Papaw and Mamaw with a crazy crew
Grandma and Coop, Gramps was not camera ready :)
Contrary to popular belief, Coop was a puppy dog, not a cow!
Cooper and his Halloween Princess Emersyn

We spent Halloween in KC and it was a gorgeous day! We were very busy! We started trick or treating (if you want to call it that) at the Haas' house. We got to meet up with the Nitschkes and Stace. Next, we swung by the Freeman's house. Cooper took a break to eat and then off to meet all the cousins and take many pictures at Aaron and Cami's house. Coop had plans to meet up with Anna Stilley, but she was asleep early and Cooper was ready to call it a night. After hanging with cousin Kellen for a while since they were the only two not trick or treating, we headed to Mama Kelly's to see more cousins. Like I told my friend Jenny, how can we be so busy when my kid doesn't even walk or talk yet?? What will next year bring?!?

We advertise for just a small fee :)

Don't Drink and Drive...

Papaw Jones and Dad had too much fun with Coop and the bus. Cooper, like usual, just went along with it. I bet Cooper doesn't get to play with this much longer...

1st of many trips to Lawrence (God's Country)

First family picture at KU
Dad and Cooper in the midst of tailgating

A few weeks ago we went to Lawrence for the OU-KU game. It was a beautiful October Saturday so Coop joined us for tailgating. We were so excited to take him and then he slept the ENTIRE time we were there. Cooper even went on his first bus ride without a carseat, wanted to take a pic but didn't want to be the crazy first time mom on a bus full of people. :) Cooper went home with Grandma aunt Alli so Adam and I could enjoy the game. We can't wait for our first visit to Allen Fieldhouse!!!!
