Board Games

You would think (or at least I would) that I would have more one on one time with Coop compared to Laney.  Definitely not.  He is never up before her in the morning and almost always naps longer than her.  That leaves the 30-45 minutes at night in between their bedtimes.  Let's face it, by 7:45-8:00pm we  have played a lot and I am ready to clean up for the night and maybe relax.  However, this time alone with my boy Coop is precious so I am trying to take advantage of it.
Just recently he seems to have entered the world of board games.  He can sit still long enough, listen to directions, follow them (usually) and 'gets' the idea of a game.  When Doodles is awake there isn't much board game playing before mini Godzilla attacks, so we save these for night when she is snoozing.
We introduced Grandma and Alli to the Sneaky Snacky Squirrel game, our current fave.
We have a slight issue with losing...see that face?
I love board games and am so excited Coop enjoys them too.  Mostly because this Mom can only pretend play as Spiderman, Green Goblin and construction worker so many hours of a day :).
