We had a super fun time celebrating Laney's 1st birthday this weekend in Kansas. Lots more to come on that.
For now, Laney Faith finished her last can of formula this morning, meaning we are moving on to just whole milk! I have been mixing bottles, 1/2 milk, 1/2 formula for about a week or two now. She doesn't mind the difference at all and has had straight up milk thanks to finding her brother's cup laying around. I gave her last formula bottle to her at a McDonalds somewhere in Oklahoma today on our drive home. Tonight her bottle, the last one, was straight up milk.
I held her extra tight and really checked out those blue eyes on this last bottle. Just one more step in outgrowing this baby stage. Can you hear my sad voice???
