Our long weekend in Wash, MO

A couple weeks back we took an extended weekend trip up to Wash, MO to visit all the Jones'.  It was Hadley's 1st birthday and GiGi's 85th birthday so what better timing for our last trip up before we travel as a family of 5!  It was a beautiful week and the kids soaked up all their grandparent and cousin time = late bedtimes, lots of sugar, loads of love and hours of endless playtime!  Who could ask for more?

Many of the photos are courtesy of my lovely sister-in-laws...my big camera didn't make the luggage and I had 3 Stella & Dot shows the 4 days we were there so I was a bit occupied with those!
All gathered around Aunt Maggie's phone when they realized Hadley was watching Bubble Guppies:).
These 3 boys basically disappear when we all get together.  They have so much fun!
Can't you tell how much fun Cooper is having???  There was lots of PJ time, in fact one day I don't think my kids changed out of them!
PJ's again!  There were lots of cars and super heros being played all weekend and scattered all over the house.
 Love this!
Look at those sweet cheeks!  Quincy approves of Uncle Adam...Hadley not so much, she was often in tears if Adam was holding her!  He didn't give up though, he worked to impress her all weekend.
Stole this from Maggie's instagram page, adore it!  Doodles loves to dress up and loved this skirt so much that we borrowed it to take some pictures in it back home(we promise to return unharmed to Brynn!).
We don't get to be around for all the cousin birthday parties so we were ecstatic to be in town for Miss Hadley turning 1!  She is so, so sweet!!!!!!!  Hadley's party was Pancakes & Pajamas...2 of our favorite things.  In fact, I volunteered Adam as the pancake chef!  It was such a fun theme and party!
Hadley had some help from these 2 with her cake.
Papaw, Mamaw and almost all their grandkids, missing Braeden and Ava-Grace.  Look at those 4 little girls...and we thought the 3 boys were trouble!
 The pinata was a hit!
 Laney was hoarding those Starbursts!
Laney Faith was loving herself some Aunt Cami time!
We celebrated GiGi's 85th birthday with a family dinner.  She has 3 kids, 11 grandkids, and lots more great grandkids (can't really begin to count how many!).  She is my 85 year old idol!
Celebrating with just a few of her grandkids...the boys were having lots of fun outside by the bonfire...not exactly cooperating for pictures.  GiGi knows how to handle them well ;).
The best 'out-laws' ever!
Remember how I traveled up alone with the 2 kids up to STL and how incredibly awesome they were?  I swear kids can sense this kind of stuff!  Laney was a perfect angel for me, both kids were.  Adam flew home with us on Sunday (in other words, I had back up) and Laney was the opposite of incredible.  She spent lots of airport time ( we were delayed a couple hours...that didn't help) in timeout, see above pic.  She would.not. sit still on the airplane, was talking loudly and about 1/2 way into flight she pooped her pants.  Cooper was good, a bit whinier than usual.
Taking care of business before take off

We used miles to fly this trip and somehow got upgraded to first class!?  We don't know how that happened and would never in a bajillion years pay for that (especially since I couldn't take advantage of the free booze!), but imagine our fellow first class passengers reactions when we boarded and Laney continued to be the opposite of an angel (and a stinky one too!) during the flight :).  For some reason I happily volunteered to sit next to Laney,  which I immediately regretted as Adam could have taken a nap with his seat partner, meanwhile I was wrestling a loud animal.  In fact, I wasn't feeling good so I made Adam switch me about 1/2 way thru the flight.

Needless to say we were happy to be home after the airport and airplane debacle of our daughter.
