At preschool, in each class the kids take rotating turns being Shining Star. Shining star means you get to bring a toy to show, snacks to share and line leader for the day...not sure how else they celebrate while at school. Laney was all smiles her shining star morning. She picked to bring Minnie Mouse and never wavered in her decision.
She took pumpkin muffins and (her favorite!) applesauce to share with her friends.
When I picked her up, the teachers said she was excited all day!
This was before we left for school...and she hadn't changed into her shoes for school yet :). Clearly she has now mastered the cheesy smile...just in time for our family pictures next month, awesome.
