The Alfermann and Kluesner clans visit!

I love spontaneous trips and visits!  My friend, Nicole, texted me on a Friday and wanted to know our plans for Sunday/Monday (it was MLK Day).  Her and Maureen were thinking of driving in with the kids from STL.  We had no plans so I said, let's do it!!!  And we did!  They packed up their crew of 6 kids and headed west.  They arrived Sunday afternoon and stayed thru Tuesday morning.  We had so much fun!  The kids play so well together and as crazy as it sounds since there were 9 kids...it was so easy going.  Loud, but easygoing ;).  The weather was actually decent for January so we were able to get the kids outside a bit too!

We were headed to the school playground with the kids and Adam took them on the golf cart.
 They were so excited!
Don't worry, everyone was buckled in!  Safety First ;).  I wish I had video because they had music blaring, cruising the streets with the biggest smiles on their faces.

 Both girls love to swing!
We headed to the park again later that afternoon.  We were quite the crew.
These sweet babies opted for the double stroller over the golf cart.
I opened a bag of cheezits and they all came running.  Who's the creepy guy on the slide? ;)
 Hi sweet girls!
Love this picture of Knox and the blue skies behind him!
Coop got a basketball rim from Grandma and Grandpa and the backboard is from Aaron and Cami's old house.  It has been a hit!  Parker and Coop played some ball.
Meanwhile Knox and Laney were sailing the open seas in their ship.  sidenote...Maureen took this pic and said "smile," and Laney proceeded to lift up her shirt...oh Laney.
There was lots of dress-up!  I mean lots!  This Sheriff Woody and Anna combination was pretty classic.
Give the kids some blank paper and markers and they are totally entertained!  And it makes a great placemat.
That's 9 kids ages 7 months to 7 years with 2 more on the way...and no, I am not pregnant! It was such a fun 48 hours, we love when friends come visit us!!  I am so thankful for friends that are willing to pack up 6 kids and drive 4 hours to come see us!!!
