Smile Fridays - week 6

Smile Fridays is back after a couple week hiatus due to vacation...

My kids are napping at the same time everyday (now that I have spoken this out loud, I have surely jinxed myself).  It is incredible what can be accomplished in that hour or two!

If you have had a baby, are pregnant or planning on ever having a baby, you must read this article! It's all about the realities of after child birth.  Now that I think about it, the only people that may find it funny are those already with babies...those thinking about it may give it 2nd thoughts after reading ;).  My pregnant sister-in-law Maggie sent the link to me and I was laughing out loud, seriously so funny.  ps-if you get offended easily, you probably shouldn't read it :)

This week has been totally ordinary and we have loved it.  It's been full of trips to the gym, cereal for breakfast, PB&J for lunch, home cooked dinners, and lots of playtime with our toys that were missed on vacation.  In this picture, Cooper had built Pirate Island and it was surrounded by sharks...quite the imagination these days.  We each had pirate names, but Doodles quickly became one of those sharks as she was not content hanging out on that tiny island :). update-curled up on the couch with Cooper this morning watching Jake and the Never Land Pirates and they are on Pirate Island!  Ha!  Guess his idea wasn't so imaginative after all...don't even know the last time he would have watched this show!!!

It is June 22 and we have not had a 100 degree day yet (i think)!  And, we have had rain!  Last year at this point, we already had 7 days straight of 100 plus temps.  Last July there was only 1 day below 100 degrees...how crazy is that??
