We arrived home late last night (after a 13 hour ride home) from our week at the beach, so our morning was slow today. In fact, Cooper wasn't up until after 10! We headed to our favorite breakfast place, The Snooty Pig. It was delicious as always and Laners got her first taste of pancakes, of course she loved them!
At breakfast I asked Cooper what's the best thing about Dad...his response, he plays trucks with me :). Not only does he play trucks with Cooper-he has great construction guy voices that Coop later imitates. I am pretty sure that Doodles would say the best thing about Dad is that he is always singing some fun (made-up) song with her name in it that makes her smile as big as the sun.
Adam and I are so blessed to have extraordinary Dads in our lives. They have worked so hard throughout the years to provide for us and are flat out fun too! And they love their Grandkids beyond words.
The rest of the day was pretty ordinary, which was a nice break after a busy week at the beach. We did enchiladas for dinner at Dad's request and cookies/ice cream for dessert.
