Memorial Day Weekend in Wash, MO

I know, Memorial Day!  I am so behind!  And we haven't even watched Scandal in over a week!

We got home Wednesday afternoon from Omaha, unpacked, did laundry, repacked and hit the road to Wash, MO on Friday afternoon!

It was the 175th anniversary celebration of the city so there was lots of festivities!  It started Friday night with fireworks on the riverfront.
Saturday morning there was a parade in downtown.
Hadley and I took some selfies and sent to her mom and dad who were headed to a wedding in KC.
The kids LOVED it!
And I did too!  Seriously, it was an awesome parade!
You don't see this everyday!
The clydesdales made an appearance.
Adam's Grandpa started Hillermann's nursery.  The front of the truck had a picture of him on it, I wasn't quick enough with my camera :(.
It was Pippi's first parade!
After naps we headed to the park across the street for some fun.  Laney kinda liked her sno-cone ;).

These girls took over the bar at dinner time.
The kids went down this bounce house slide what seemed like a thousand times!  Laney would just throw herself down it, so funny!  And a tad scary.
These girls went from bounce house to bounce house for a couple hours just jumping and jumping.

We spent Sunday at the Zicks.  The kids swam (well, not mine, another reason for swim lessons!) and we cooked out.  John made me a delicious frozen margarita.
We bathed the girls together and then they had a post bath dance party.
Laney was hugging Brynn…I think.  They were so funny together.
Hadley and Brynn loving on Pippi.  So sweet!
Ha!  Piper's face cracks me up, love this picture.

It was a great few days and fun kick off to Summer!!  Next time we are back, it will be to meet our newest niece/nephew.  Maggie is due in just a few weeks…so exciting!!!!!!!!!
