A couple months into the school year Cooper joined TOTS. You can read all about it here. Basically, it's a program where the kids learn all about different dribbling and ball handling skills. They have 'practice' once a week, 2-2:40 on Tuesdays. It's at his school so he goes straight from class to TOT. It's the perfect fit right now. We debated on how/what to start him in...tee ball, soccer, basketball. But, to be honest we enjoy our weekends right now, we like to sleep in and not have to be anywhere. :)
A few times during the school year they have performances. Their first was this week at the halftime of the middle school girls' basketball game...big time ;).
Ready to perform!
Doodles was busy on Aunt Alli's phone. Yep, Grandma and Aunt Alli happened to be in town for the big show.
Here they come!
Trying to find a yellow circle...that's where he was supposed to be.
Of course he found the yellow circle in the far back. Here are the kids in action. It was about 5 minutes long. We were really impressed, that's a lot of 3-5 year olds to handle a basketball for that long. The kids did awesome! Cooper was totally into it, not always on the right spot but close enough!
The next performance is on a slightly bigger stage....Harlem Globetrotters next weekend!
