Adam and I have a prediction that our baby girl will crawl before she is sitting up independently. Anytime we try to sit her up, she gets herself on her belly pretty quickly and starts rolling. It seems to be what she loves. She gets what she wants by rolling around until she gets it. She is scooting a little too, but not crawling quite yet.
This is how she starts and can be across the room in a matter of minutes!
