Christmas Eve!

Christmas Eve!  One of my favorite days of the year, I love all the anticipation this day and night holds!
We all said goodbye to Nineey.
Ok-so Christmas Eve came and I still had not gotten the Santa Claus picture that I had in mind.  I thought it was a great idea to head to Bass Pro (because they were the only place still doing Santa pics!) to see Santa on Christmas Eve.  I mean...who else would be wanting to do this on Christmas Eve day...oh, apparently everyone in Johnson County!  It was a freakin' 2 hour wait!!!
We ditched that idea and hit up the carousel.
I love that he's hanging on like his life depends on it.
Lots of cooperation for a picture, thanks kids.  Oh and Laney decided she should wear Piper's vest that is 12-18 months.

We went home, kids took naps, we went to 4:00 Christmas Eve mass and then to my Grandma's for dinner.
**Bear with me as these pictures are a bit jumbled.**
Aaaah, Santa Claus stopped by!  Cooper and Laney were over the moon ecstatic!
Piper and Henley were traumatized.
End of the night, Pippi was tired and pretty content in Brock's arms.
The kids made reindeer food with Grandma a couple nights before.

The kids wrapped up the night watching Santa Tracker and dancing.
My sweet Christmas baby wouldn't sit still long enough to get a good picture.
And then it was time for a sibling picture, they were ready...
Pippi was not.
Actually, Cooper was the only cooperating one.
Needless to say, I wasn't getting a picture of all 3 kids looking and smiling.

Santa brought the kids books and they were so happy about that!

 Yep, traumatized.

Grandpa had an in with the big guy ;).
I thought I would try for a Santa picture...Piper wouldn't let go of me!
Of course he wanted to read his books right then and there.
Dad shared his dessert with Pippi.
Lane took over my Grandma's camera for the night and took lots of pictures of everyone.
I think Santa finally visited 2 am...exhausting job ;)  All waiting on 3 sleeping kids to wake and celebrate Christmas!
