We got home from the fair Sunday night and Tuesday was Coop's birthday! I can't believe he is 5 - a whole hand! Did you hear that…a whole hand!!! The night before his birthday he was in bed and I was in the hall folding laundry. He came out and said, "I want to give you one last hug and kiss as a 4 year old." That boy melts my heart sometimes.
I love birthdays, like really love birthdays!
Adam was out of town in the morning - it was killing him that he had to wait to open his presents. I let him open some Superman books that we had gotten him. We have read them everyday since his birthday.
This surprise from Grandma and Grandpa was waiting in the yard when we woke up!
I craved and ate pancakes like crazy when I was pregnant with Cooper so his traditional birthday breakfast is pancakes!
Aunt Alli and Henley stopped by in the morning with a bag of SuperHero goodies.
We met some cousins at Chuck E Cheese in the morning. This has been his birthday request since we went on his birthday last year. Will helped him earn lots of tickets.
Laney rode this princess carriage over and over again and always wanted a baby with her.
Chuck E Cheese made an appearance and she lost it, so scared.
Boys and video games.
This is him annoyed that I keep asking him to smile when all he wants to do is play games.
"Cooper and Laney - let's get a picture of you together!" Thanks guys.
They got lots of crap goodies from their tickets.
Of course we stopped at Chick-Fil-A for lunch.
Dad met us for lunch and we came home to open presents. He was pretty excited about his new legos!
Cash came to play for a bit after lunch - these two are 5 for six days together before Cash turns 6.
On our way home from the fair we asked him what he wanted to do on his birthday. His request was to do something with just mom and dad because he never gets to. Done! We dropped the girls off at Grandma and Grandpas and headed to dinner. Jersey Boyz was his choice.
He really likes to golf so we decided to try out putt putt - so fun!
He got a hole in one!!
We loved having just him to ourselves for a couple hours and putt putt was so much fun!
For the record - Dad won - he got a ridiculous 4 or 5 hole in one shots.
Did I mention that he is a whole hand?!
His shirt is from Mommy Shop. We picked it up the day before and he wanted to wear it - I told him he had to wait until his birthday. He said, "You are right - it probably won't fit until I turn 5 ;)."
Race to the car!
We went back to Grandma and Grandpa's house for cake. He requested a chocolate cake with chocolate icing and sprinkles.
This is how a family pic starts.
I clipped back Pippi's hair so we could see her eyes but didn't bother to wipe all the chocolate off the big kids' faces. lets ignore my bra strap and nursing pad-what's it doing over there anyways!??
Happy Birthday Cooper William - we love you to the moon and back!!!!!
