Daddy/Daughter Dance

We arrived in Wash, MO Friday afternoon and that night the Dads and girls had a Father/Daughter dance to attend.  It was Adam and Laney's first daddy/daughter dance!!!  So sweet!

 Corsages and all!  I asked Laney if she liked her flowers, she said yes and wanted to know if that meant her and Daddy were getting married. ;)

 Not to be outdone by the girls!  The mom stayed home and drank wine while the boys acted like this.

 We were lucky because Hadley's Aunt Jeanne was there (thanks Jeanne!!!) and took some great pics of our group!

 Emily was pretty excited to take the 3 girls.

 They had dinner there at the dance.  The dads were laughing because with all these girls dressed up, they served spaghetti and pink lemonade.

The first week of February

I am getting so, so close to being caught up on the blog, woot-woot!  The first week of February was pretty ordinary for us...kids had school, activities and it was cold so lots of playtime at home.

Well, the week didn't start out ordinary!  My bff, Julie, took me to the KU-ISU game...so much fun!

 Just cruising around the kitchen, Pippi freaking loves this car.

 I had put Piper down for a nap and called them upstairs to do the same.  This is how they greeted me.

 Too cold to go outside so we made chocolate chip cookies.

 While we made cookies, she played with Lola, her bff.

 More evidence that she adores Lola.  She is often in her pillow with her or playing with her food/water bowls.

We wrapped up the first week of February with a fun weekend trip to Wash, MO!

Piper and Lola singing

It's becoming quite certain that Lola is Piper's favorite family member (well, besides me of course ;)).  She looks for Lola every morning, she's the only person (yes, I called Lola a person) that Piper willingly gives kisses too, she is often in her pillow with her, and they sing together...

Mamaw and Papaw Visit

We rounded out the month of January with a weekend visit from Mamaw and Papaw.  Before they arrived, I took the kids to Ashley Stilley's birthday party.

 The party was in BV rec gymnastic room and my kids had a BALL!  Afterwards they decided that was where they would have their birthday party...in August.

 My kids were so quiet and shy in the beginning and stuck close to one another ;).

 Laney won the circle game so she was the line leader with Ashley.  Tidbit about Laney Faith, if she is nervous or uncomfortable, she puts her fingers in her mouth.

We met up with the Jones' and Adam (he had been out of town all week) to hang out.  The next morning, us girls went to the West Bottoms for some shopping.

 I found this gem for my island and some Valentine decor.

Mamaw had bought the boys each a Superhero earlier in the day and they couldn't leave them at home!

Aaron and Cami had a charity event to go to, so we took the kids to BurgerFi for dinner.  It was so, so good!

 A worker brought the kids these sunglasses and they thought it was just about the greatest thing ever.

Sunday night was Super Bowl Sunday and Cooper was pumped!!  He was 100% Patriots and had a blast watching the game.  Laney watched the first half with us and kept asking when the baseball game was going to be over...lol.  Clueless.  

Here is a video of him after the Patriots won.  He was a little down when the Seahawks were about to score but then the interception happened and lots of celebration!  He said it was the best day of his life...lol.  

Adios January, off to February...one month closer to warm sunshine!!!
