Laney Faith turns 4!

Laney's birthday party was Sunday and her real birthday was the next day so we celebrated again.  Lots of celebrating in August!

 Opening gifts!  Those name letters are still not hung up in her room!  

 She got that outfit from Aaron and Cami and wore it every chance she got between her birthday and October.  She loved her new cowboy boots from the Zicks too - still wears them almost everyday.

 We met the cousins at Deanna Rose for the morning!

 The kids are usually intrigued by the blacksmith worker.

 Let's fast forward 12 years = scary!  

 She had her 4 year check up on her actual birthday!  She was due for shots but who gets shots on their actual birthday?!  That didn't seem fair so we saved them for the next time we were in to see our doc.  She weighed 37 lbs (69%ile) and was 42.5 inches tall (95%ile).

 It was Dad's day to work at Urban Air so we went to play there for a bit.

She had a pretty great couple of days celebrating turning 4!  Happy Birthday Laney Faith - we love you so much!!!

Laney's 4th Birthday Party

Just like Cooper, Laney celebrated with a party at Urban Air.  And again, all I had to do was pick up a  cake and it was awesome!!

 Man, I love this 4 year old!!!

 She was lucky to have lots of people there (she had no guest restrictions, unlike her brother) that love her but extra special that both great grandmas made it!!

 She requested a Frozen birthday party so we picked up some plates and a cake, she was happy!

 These 2 are always cracking us up!

 We went home, ate lunch, took naps and headed down to my Grandma's farm.

 We drove out by the pond to fish, eat dinner and play.

 Rusty grilled hot dogs and the kids ate on the bed of his truck.

 Grandpa showed up with ice cream sandwiches.

 We came home and washed all the dirt off the kids.  They were so excited to take a bath with the new bath colors that the McCormacks got Laney for her birthday.

 Her last night as a 3 year old in her new jammies from the McCormacks!

I tried to get there to put up 3 fingers but she was ready to be 4 and wouldn't show me 3.

Laney's Birthday Weekend

We got visitors from Wash, MO to help celebrate Laney's birthday weekend!  On Saturday, Cooper and Laney had their first soccer games.

 He was pretty happy to have Kellen there to watch.

 She was a bit lost on the field but she participated and we called that a win!

 Sometimes it seems that all these little girls do is eat!

 The girls and I went to Gia's birthday party for a bit.  She and Laney are just 2 days apart.  Laney was super shy but still so excited that Anna was there.

 I chased this little one around.

 We skipped naps for all the partying so she caught up on the way home from Gia's birthday.

 It was back home to enjoy the weather and play outside!

It may have been the middle of summer but that doesn't stop Adam from building a fire!

The 12 days between Cooper and Laney's birthdays

A little peek into the 12 days between birthday celebrations...

 As long as the weather cooperates, this is how we get to Cooper to school

 Laney started her first season of soccer this past fall...it was entertaining.

 This was short lived...those girls aren't easy to push.

 She loves walks in her bike.

 She has never taken a paci but if she randomly finds one left behind by Henley or Quincy, she takes it and thinks it's so funny!

 I forgot this in the first day of school post.  And I just realized that I wrote day instead of dad!

 We celebrated Cash's birthday at Urban Air.

 It was in the 90's and she was dressing for winter.

 I had Piper in my lap fixing her hair.  She got up, Quincy sat in my lap and said, "Do my hair like Pipers."

 Emersyn had a magician party and it was awesome!  The magician was incredible and so funny.
