End of January

Let's wrap up the January randomness and then I will post about our fun events from the month!

The two of us watch Laney at dance class once a week.  She is so content and sweet, I think she just loves having me to herself ;).
This is how I found her during nap one day...sound asleep!
 Another visit in my closet
We finally made Christmas returns one month after!  She is starting to love shoes, finds them and brings them to me to put on her.  Aunt Cami got her these cute moccasins when she was born.
A visit to Great-Mama Kellys home one afternoon.  I texted Tara these pictures and said, "if Gunner didn't eat dinner, here's your reason why"  :)
Pepsi, chocolate and marshmallows an hour before dinner...isn't that what a Grandma's house is for??
Seriously, these 2 crack me up!  They have quite the lively personalities are sure to just continue getting into trouble.

She often takes her dance party to the ottoman.
I put pigtails in her hair and its as if she aged 6 months!
She is seriously so stinkin' sweet!!!!!
Another note from Cooper to a sports figure.  I realize I don't have as many pictures of him but he is the least dramatic of the bunch and often doing his own thing.  The girls are always giving me something to take a picture of!
Adam and I snuck away one Sunday afternoon to see this movie - it's a must see!
 We love bow delivery day!!!
Adam was out of town so I took a picture of the kids to send to him...then I realized all 3 of them had their eyes closed...typical.
Everyday they are coloring and I love it!

Mid-January

More randomness from the beginning of our 2015...
One of my 2015 goals is to read more.  These have both been on my nightstand since January 1 and regret to say that I have yet to read past chapter 1.  I think I need something a little lighter ;).
We went to the KU-Texas Tech game with Aaron and Cami and saw a big victory!  We went up to Lawrence early and had some burgers and beers at the Wheel before the game...dreamy!
 This is my happy place!
This girl goes into my closet and always comes out accessorized, she cracks me up!
Popcorn and TV time.  Cooper was so, so excited for the National Title game.  He even picked out green pjs to represent the Oregon Ducks.  Not sure why he was cheering for them??  Laney watched Frozen in our room.
The kids' preschool teachers will occasionally send pictures of what they are doing in class. I love sneak peeks into their day!  Here they were in music class practicing with rhythm sticks.
Red Power Ranger and Anna/Elsa got married one day after fighting lots of bad guys.  Man, I just love the imaginations at this age!!!
One week they kept asking to have a sleepover in Laney's room.  We told them they had to wait until it wasn't a school night.  I had a Stella & Dot show one Thursday night and came home to this...so sweet.
They wanted to sleep on her floor so Adam just moved the mattress to the floor for them to sleep on.
I saw this on Facebook and laughed, I pretty sure this will ring true in our house!
All of a sudden she is seeming so big ;(, seriously, she looks 2 years old here!

Will post about it later but my sweet Cooper turned 5 1/2 today!!  Can someone tell me how that happened???

1st half of January

In an effort to catch up on blogging, here is lots of randomness from the first half of January!
Her bedding had been stuff I have had for years...it was cheap and not that comfy.  She always complained about the sheets being cold and wanting warm ones...the rest of us have jersey sheets, so comfy.  Grandma and Grandpa got her new sheets for Christmas...she was so excited and cozy!
After leaving Christmas day for a week, there were a lot of toys to catch up on when we got home!  The boys built this Chiefs Lego set.
My niece Ava-Grace is an incredible dancer...seriously people, she's really awesome!  She had a competition in OP, so I took my tiny dancer to go watch.  Laney was totally mesmorized.
Cooper was totally in to football this year, college and NFL.  It's Adam's dream...Cooper would sit and watch games with him this past season.  Just as he wrote a congratulatory note to the Royals when they got in the World Series, he wrote Oregon a note when they got into the National Title game.  For those that don't read pre-kindergarten, that says, Congratulations Semi-Final Game.  I am a big fan of Oregon.  the cutest!
She wanted to get one last read of all our Christmas books before I packed them away.  And yes, she's wearing a summer dress.
I love life with a little boy.  There is always a game being played or a ball being thrown right in the middle of the house.  Don't tell the girls...I much prefer playing a game of catch over their dollhouse ;).
Lots of patio progress in the month of January, Pippi kept watch.
This was on our way to church early one morning.  He was praying for God to bring warmer weather.  Again, he is sooo my child.
 I love my lunch view!
We got some snow...not much, but still, it's snow, blah.
She loves her sister's play makeup and sneaks it whenever she can.
Desperately waiting for Spring.  These temps are no fun!
When my laptop had crashed, I was stuck to desktop in basement.  One afternoon I had some work emails to catch up on so we moved snack downstairs.
Mamaw and Papaw Jones got Coop a kindergarten prep workbook.  He worked on it every single day until it was complete...even if that meant in the bathroom while I bathed the girls.
Stella & Dot launched their new Spring line-our most versatile line yet! See it here, stelladot.com/ashleyjones

I had Coop at the doctor (to check for strep...negative) and we were so excited to see Gunner in one of the magazines!!  Handsome boy!
This girl is developing such a sweet personality!  I tell her everyday that I am so happy she can't talk back to me yet ;).

 She loves to play ball.
We had the family over to celebrate my mom's birthday.  Uncle Brock led the kids in a snowball fight.
Happy Birthday Mom/Grandma!!!

Stay tuned for part 2 of January!

Bye Bye Bottles!

We kicked off the new year with a big change...no more bottles for Pippi!!  Our formula was just about gone, so we peeled the bandaid off quickly.  No transitioning her like I did the other 2 kids with 1/2 milk, 1/2 formula bottles. Nope.  We just switched from formula bottle to milk in a sippy cup.  I did warm up her milk...and I am still doing it.  This was probably a really bad habit to start!  I have given her cold milk and she just hurls the cup.
All packed up!  Another shelf in my pantry opened up...woot, woot!
She is just as happy with her sippy cup as her bottle.

New Years Eve 2014/New Years Day 2015

We packed up our bags in Wash, MO and headed to STL to spend New Year's with good friends before heading home the next morning.  We joined the Alfermanns and Waldes at the Kluesners for a night of fun!
A lot of kids all snuggled in for a movie!  12 kids total, 3 of the babies were already in bed for this picture.  The oldest kid was Nicole's sweet niece that hung out with the kids in the basement most of the evening.
Sweet Parker and Frannie gave up their beds for Coop and Laney.
We got up first thing on New Year's Day and hit the road back home!
Thankfully there was lots of snoozing - kids were exhausted! And so were Adam and I...we all napped after lunch at home for over 2 hours!!!!!
She got those Frozen heels for Christmas from Grandma/Grandpa and didn't take them off much over Christmas break.

That's a wrap on 2014!
