The rest of our Wash, MO Christmas fun!

We were in town for a week so lots of fun times with cousins!  And again, since I am posting 6 weeks later...having a hard time remembering details of our visit!  I do know there was lots playing, staying up way too late, wine drinking, good food eaten...what else can you ask for??
Santa Claus brought Hadley a bounce house so the little girls got lots of bouncing in!
Laney with her bffs, Hadley and Brynn or as she calls them, Hatty and Benny.
 Silly girls!
Em is so good with the little kids!  Pippi was really rockin' the fountain pony, wowza!

Laney was the baby and Hadley was the mommy ;)
We got sitters and the adults went out to dinner one night.
We drove into St. Louis one afternoon/evening to have dinner with the McCormacks old neighbors.  They also happen to have an old trolley and a love for Christmas lights so they took our whole crew on a tour - it was so fun!  Thanks to Mamaw and Papaw for those Frozen headphones...she can now keep her rockin' music to herself ;).
It was like 10 degrees that night but Laney was barefoot and without a coat most of the ride...crazy girl.
We drove thru Tilles Park and toured some crazy lit up houses!
I know it's blurry but that was inside their garage!!!
The whole group...minus a few kids that were on the back freezing their buns off.
She was pretty mesmerized by the light display at the park.
Apparently I didn't do my hair or wear any makeup for the night???  And why does Adam look so tan??  Did he steal my tinted moisturizer???
Adam and I snuck away one morning for our annual meeting with our finance guys in STL.  It's hard to be in STL and not stop by our favorite place for pizza - yum, the best!!!

Christmas with the Jones'

On December 26th, all the Jones' kids were back in Wash, MO so we celebrated Christmas with a delicious dinner and gifts!
They were grilling steaks and having no fun.
We fed the kids nuggets, mac'n'cheese, and fruit before we had our crab legs and filet :).  Meal time with 12 grandkids is a serious job!  It felt like everytime we got the kitchen clean, it was time to feed the herd again ;).
She hasn't promoted to the kids table yet...next year Pippi...maybe ;).
The grandkids minus Braeden, he was in Florida playing in a soccer tournament.
Not an easy group to capture!
Funny faces!  Look closely at Laney's face and hand.  Her and Hadley took their lipgloss to a whole new level while the adults ate dinner.  Apparently she also thought her hand was paper.
I will say Hadley took the lipgloss even further than Laney!  It took a few baths to get that oily junk out of her hair.  Silly girls, they sure do make us laugh.

Present opening is pure chaos with this group!

Laney Faith was crying because she had no more presents to open...drama.  Let's be clear...she had already opened way too many presents!
After the kids, it was the adults turn for our Rob Your Neighbor gift exchange.
 Yep, this happened.
Dennis and Joyce had recently hung up family pictures, the boys had fun with them.
Brody got lots of snuggles from GiGi.

We stayed for a week so more from our visit soon!

Christmas Day 2015

The kids were up around 7, which was good because we had a busy day ahead of us!  We went downstairs and they were so, so excited!  I am already sad thinking back on this Christmas because I know these magical years won't last forever.
Santa left their main gift unwrapped and wrapped the others...a slight change from last year when everything was unwrapped.  Cooper got a SuperNova Battle Rover...Adam asked what is that?  My answer...a huge, obnoxiously loud toy with lots of small pieces ;).  I am feeding his imaginative side for as long as possible.  I.hate.video.games.  Laney got a dollhouse that she totally bypassed Christmas morning...could care less.  Pippi got a ride along toy.
Believe it or not, Cooper was up first.  We read books in bed until the girls woke up.
I mean, it doesn't better than this Christmas morning excitement, right??
He got the football uniform he wanted and was so happy.
Her and Pippi got name puzzles to work on their names.  Happy to report that Laney can now spell her name!
Piper was all over-not sure what to do about all the excitement.  Love all the bed head.
A baby of her own!
She LOVES her toothbrush.
The aftermath.  Wanna know something crazy?  We left town later that day and left this room exactly how it looks.  I wanted to cry, I hate leaving the house a mess when we leave town but time was not on our side that day.
Her main Christmas wish was a trash can.  She was over the moon when she opened it.

She also got a makeup bag just like mine with pretend but very realistic looking makeup, thank you Fimmen!  We applied makeup on each other at least 10 times that morning.
 He was looking the part!

After we opened and played with our gifts for a bit, we headed to Grandpa and Grandma's house for breakfast and more presents.
Love these kids!

Laney's other Christmas wish was an Anna dress so she was so happy to get one from Gunner and Landree.
Hugs or fighting for Grandma's lap? I can't remember ;).
All the kids were loving Pippi's Minnie Mouse ride along.

We went back home after Grandma and Grandpa's house.  I hadn't started packing yet, so that was fun :(.  A couple hours later we were in the car headed to Wash, MO for the next week.  On the way there I told Adam that I didn't think I had ever been so tired!  Between Pippi's first birthday,  a busy month with Stella & Dot, and all the Christmas bustle...I was exhausted!  Not many hours of sleep that month.
We made it to Wash, MO and the big kids were so happy to see their cousins!

It was a very Merry Christmas, we are just so thankful for a happy and healthy family!
