Spring Break 2014 Visitors!

Wanna know what's crazier than Spring Break in Mexico?  8 kids (plus one in the oven) - ages 6 and under and 3 moms in one house for a few days!!!  A different kind of crazy but still crazy fun!
Our good friends from STL, the Kluesners and Alfermanns packed up and came to see us for a few days and we couldn't have been more excited!
In the first 1/2 hour I realized I had left my camera up in Piper's room from earlier in the day.  I went up to get it and found Cooper photographing Frannie :).  Yes those are thick natural curls, her hair is to die for!
Costumes were the name of the game!  No joke, Frannie, Laney and Knox were in costume 95% of the time they were awake.
These 2 were often in a world of their own, they played so well together!
Sweet Nora was digging the Mr. Potato Head glasses.  How sweet is her little thumb sucking self!
 Princesses!
 Hi George!
We didn't leave the house during their visit.  Weather was yuck and it was going to take more effort than was worth it to accommodate everyone's eating/sleeping schedule!
I had to get creative here as the kids were kind of losing it before dinner one late afternoon.  Butcher paper and crayons for the win!
Knox as Nemo, doesn't get any cuter!  He was the Prince to the 2 Princesses ;).
This handsome guy is about to be in a sister sandwich when his baby sister arrives this summer!
Movie Night!  My awesome sister hand delivered Frozen as a surprise for the kids.  Laney didn't nap this day, hence the attitude and then she missed Frozen to hit the hay early.
 Love these kids!
The best we could get with Doodles…that girl!

Such fun and great memories made!  Next time I promise to take you all out of my house!!!!!!!

Preschool Pictures

Reason #3,498 I loved the kids' preschool in Texas…without asking (I had totally forgot!) they sent me the proofs of the kids' school pictures with instructions on how to order!
This boy literally has one "nice" outfit and he has worn it for everything!  Family pictures, school pictures, school programs, church - you name it.
Such a sweet and innocent smile.
Sister has worn this outfit for lots of events too!  For the record…I could never get her to sit like that!

They even did sibling pics!!

She's Rolling Over!

At 3 months and 2 days, my baby rolled over!  Aaahhhh!  Too soon Baby Piper!  Too soon!  I laid her down on the floor in our room, was getting ready for a wedding and just.like.that. she was on her belly.  I couldn't believe it so I rolled her back to her back and she did it again for me.  So of course I grabbed my camera to capture :).

It takes her a bit to get her arm out from under her but she works at it until she breaks free.

So far she has just rolled back to belly so far.  Easy on the milestones Piper Jones!

Piper - 3 months

This is really 3 1/2 months, but who's counting?  Our sweet Piper easily transitioned into our new home.  She is still sleeping bedside in our room as her crib is still not put together.
The latest and greatest with Piper…
-She is breastfeeding full time, girl won't take a bottle!  We are on a "let's get this baby girl taking a bottle" mission and so far our mission is a failure.  More details on this later, but if you have a solution that worked for you, please share!
-She eats for a final time somewhere around the 10 o'clock hour and is back up in the 7 o'clock hour.
-Smiles, smiles, smiles!  The best!  My favorite smiles are the ones when she first wakes up and it's just the two of us before we start the day with our crazies.
-Starting to really watch her brother and sister! They are great about laying on the floor with her during tummy time to keep her entertained.

Still rockin' that crazy hair!  She doesn't seem to be losing any yet.

 LOVE all her rolls!
She was very intrigued by her bloomers.
A couple of my letters were hijacked by my photography assistant, a cute and sassy toddler girl/
Piper was definitely not loving picture time.

Happy 3 months Piper Marie!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Grandma and Grandpa hosted a St. Patty's Day party a day early.  Wearing green was the only requirement.
Cooper took that wearing green to a whole new level.  Green on green with green socks.  When he got dressed he told Adam that he wished he had green shoes to wear ;).
 His finished product.
Brock and Jade sporting their green spirit!
 The partiers!
 Funny Faces!

The next morning...
A green breakfast!
That's apple jacks (just the green ones) and the marshmallows from lucky charms, all served with green milk :).  The kids thought they were in breakfast heaven!!!

So sweet!
Sisters!  I probably should have fixed Laney's hair after nap but Piper had a blowout so I needed to change her immediately when I realized I didn't have pics of the kids in their green!
Let the outtakes begin...
Laney was insistent that her babies be in the pictures.
Why can't these kids look at the camera when I ask!??!!
And I give up.
Happy 1st St. Patrick's Day our sweet Piper Marie!!!

Road Trip to Wash, MO

We were in our house for just a couple weeks when we packed up and headed to Wash, MO.  We went back for a few reasons…we celebrated Papaw, Kellen and Brynn's birthdays, GiGi Hillermann hadn't met Piper yet (the lady behind the Marie in Piper's name!), either had the McCormacks, and Adam had some work to do there as well.
We went out to dinner to celebrate Papaw's birthday.  The boys did some late night celebrating with him and paid for it the next day ;).
Sweet Emily adores Piper…until she pukes or poops ;).
While all the little kids napped, I snuck Emily away for pedicures!
She was bored so Adam led her thru bootcamp.
Oh these two!  When they disappear, we know it's trouble!
Love this collage from Brynn's birthday party and cake eating :).  Thanks Maggie.

These 2 boys play pretend for hours upon hours.  They can't stand to be separated when we are visiting.
Brynn had lots of help opening her gifts.
 Totally in control.
Cooper trying to wave them down for a ride ;).
 The boys caught a ride!
Four generations - same pic here with Laney.  The girls are even wearing the same bow!

We were around on Monday since Adam had to work.  Maggie took the day off of work and the weather was beautiful so we decided to hit up the zoo!  The day didn't go as exactly as planned.
Besides needing to eat, Piper was such a good baby!
We didn't see many animals before the kids started melting down but the gorillas were quite entertaining!
These 2 big boys walked and after about an hour, they were over it.  All their weekend fun had caught up with them.  See the sweet girls in the double stroller ;).
Meltdowns in full effect.  Everyone was tired and hungry…despite having snacks 20 minutes before.
Thought she was going to fall asleep in the stroller.
 Sad Hadley.
And then to top off the visit…Laney had to pee right when we got to the car.  Of course.  I knew she was capable of squatting, her Dad taught her ;).  Well, she was in her skinny jeans and the minute I pulled them down, the girl just started peeing.  I didn't know what to do-so I let her go.  And she peed about a gallon.  Thankfully Maggie had a diaper and pajama pants of Hadley for her to slip into for the hour drive home.

A stop at Steak'n'Shake and back to Mamaw and Papaws for naps.  That evening we headed back home to OP.
