2 months since my last post! How did that happen?? We opened a business July 31st and life hasn't been the same since! I plan on blogging all about it but need to catch on the rest of July first. If you haven't heard about the store yet, which I am 99.9% sure all of you have, check it out at www.urbanairop.com.
I am finally blogging today because the kids and I tagged along with Adam to Big Cedar Lodge for his work trip. Which means I can blog because I don't have a dirty house/grocery shopping/Urban Air staring me in the face :). In the meantime, let's rewind to one of my favorite days of the year...my birthday! Yes, I still love my birthday-even if I am inching into my mid 30's.
The major downfall about being backlogged on 2 months of blogging?? I have a hard time remembering the details of all the pictures I took! Here's what I remember about my birthday...painters were at the house doing some touch up warranty work, it was gloomy and chilly (can't remember the last time I wore long sleeves and jeans on my birthday!), went to Chick-Fil-A for lunch, Cooper had a baseball game and we went to Chipotle for dinner afterwards with my parents. Nothing glamorous but it was great to me!
The day before my birthday I had sweet Pippi at the doc, she had an ear infection. She kept pointing to all the animals and saying, "bug."
Then that evening we were in the basement with a tornado warning! It was kind of scary especially since Adam wasn't home...however Brock made a pit stop at our house on his way home from work during the storm. Thankfully no tornado here!
Pretty birthday flowers from Dennis and Joyce! I had birthday flower arrangements from my mom and one from the kids that they did with Alli and Rusty but I can't find any pictures of them.
Sitting in the car waiting to go into game. Laney always has a bag/purse of some sort with a lot random crap inside it.
It was SuperHero day, so instead of their jerseys, the boys wore Super Hero shirts.
He loves to play baseball and I love to watch him! He has loved this sport since he was hitting off the tee around 2/3 years old.
Grandpa and Grandma always there to support him!
Adam's birthday treat to me was bathing all 3 kids and putting them to bed so I grabbed dessert and my book. I loved that book but now I can't remember the title or who wrote it!
I can't remember the details but I ended up in bedtime duty due to meltdowns (not from Adam ;)). Loved spending my day with these 3!
Maybe the best part of my day (sorry kids!) was that the Jayhawks were playing basketball in the Olympic games!! It was the perfect nightcap to a great day.
